The club was formed in May 2002 by its Chairman Duncan Owen.  He initially started the club as a showjumping/equitation club but it has now moved into other areas and we now hold both showjumping and dressage shows. We also hold a working hunter competition once a year which includes a Blair Qualifier for the Riding club Equissage Final.

We hold most of our showjumping events at Tower Farm in Edinburgh with dressage being held at Vogrie Equestrian Centre, Midlothian.

We enjoy taking part in all riding club team events and have won both the indoor and outdoor novice showjumping which qualified us for Hartbury 2005 and Lincoln 2007, Lincoln 2009. The Novice Showjumping team was a very respectable 10th overall at Lincoln 2010

The Intermediate Showjumping Team has been placed every year since the club started in the outdoor Area 1 qualifiers. They qualified for Lincoln 2009 and in 2010 where they got their best result to date being placed 8th overall at the National Championships at Lincoln. Intermediate Team Member Deanne Roberts was placed 10th Individually.

We have also won the novice Horse Trials 2007 which qualified the club for Offchurch. 

As you can see the club has been very successful in its first nine years.

We pride ourselves on being very well organised and friendly and catering for all standards of riding.

We hold a point’s championship for members in both dressage and showjumping with trophies being presented to the highest placed member at our Annual Presentation/Disco night. 

Throughout the year we hold training nights for all members and have at least 5 showjumping shows and 3 dressage shows.  Newsletters are sent to all members throughout the year keeping them informed of what is happening in the club.
