Becoming a Member
2012 Membership renewals now due 24th Jan 2012, if you haven't received your form please download one now.

We are always keen to welcome both riding and non-riding members at anytime of the year
The membership year runs from the 1st Jan – 31st December.
The cost for a full riding member is £25 and for a non-riding member £12.


Membership Stipulations

Any member wishing to rejoin must have attended a minimum of two shows and offered assistance at a minimum of one show throughout the calendar year in order to be considered for membership renewal.  (Unless prevented from doing so through illness, being away from home, horse lameness or any other reason which in the opinion of the Committee justifies absence). 

  ·          Any member wishing to rejoin who has attended less than two shows will not be
given automatic renewal and priority will be given to those on the waiting list.

 

·          Any member wishing to rejoin must return their membership renewal to the Membership Secretary by the 24th January 2012
along with the appropriate joining fee.  If it is not received by this date then priority will be given to those on the waiting list.

 

·          All membership renewals will be presented to the committee on the 25th January before acceptance. 

 

·          Every member must supply an E-mail address for all club correspondence otherwise
an admin and postage charge of £10 per year will be added to membership fees.

 BRC Official Rule Book
Contains rules for all the disciplines of BRC Qualifiers and Championships. Each club receives two complimentary copies each year. Copies can also be bought from the BHS Bookshop.  Competitions
BRC offers a wide range of Area Qualifiers and Championships. Affiliated Riding Clubs also offer further competitions, training and area points/inter-club competitions. Guidelines for Organisers of Official Competitions

Insurance
BRC members have Third Party Insurance cover while competing at affiliated BRC events. For further information, contact South Essex Insurance Brokers (SEIB) on 0845 4500634. 30% discount when you join the BHS. BRC’s quarterly magazine keeps all members up-to-date with news, information and articles. Training
BRC offers comprehensive training including Senior Horse Welfare 1-4, Equitation 1-4 and Junior Equitation and Horse Welfare 1-4.

Horse Welfare Sheme
Horse Welfare Advisers offer equine management advice and support to BRC members.
