Our team this year at Lincoln was David Parker, Lynsey Byrne, Julia Robinson-Dow and Jennifer Mcleod are all doing the Riding Test Team of N24 and P12 and also everyone is doing a variety of individual Tests as well.

A fabulous day all round for us all. The Team was only just out the placings but totally held their own. We all got placed in our arenas which was excellent as well. The sun shone, the horses were fab, the grooms excelled themselves and we have all loved being at Lincoln with Lothians Riding Club.

Topped Off this evening with some wine and Chinese food and a wee 4th birthday party and cake for Bailey.

All in all a great day and thank you all for the messages of support it’s really appreciated

NATIONAL CHAMPTIONSHIPS AUGUST 2021

Well that’s a wrap for Lothians Riding Club and Edinburgh and District Riding Club. What a fantastic weekend we have all had and such a fabulous experience for us all at the BRC National Championships in Lincoln. We are all delighted to have been here and representing our clubs from Scotland and appreciate the opportunity and privilege for us all to have been here. Horses, riders helpers, lorries, Bailey (who turned 3 yesterday) and dogs all behaved perfectly, no stress, no drama and a lot of laughs and fun. Considering none of us have been out competing much at all in the last year and a half we have all been delighted with our horses behaviour and performances and exceeding our expectations and results. Bonus extra results to Sam, Duncan, Kevin and Becca in our show jumping team placed 5th. Happy memories of a really fantastic weekend.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS SEPTEMBER 2017

Thank you to everyone who wished us well at BRC NAF Five Star National Championships in Lincoln this weekend. We all had a fantastic trip and our horses all behaved and performed so well. We had great ground support from our volunteers and would like to thank them very much for all their help and input. Debbie, Linda, Jim, Elizabeth, Kevin, William, Julie, Andrew and Amy

Our teams all did exceptionally well in huge classes and we all came home with placings and rosett...es. Our Novice and Open teams both finished in 7th place and our Intermediate team were 8th. Both Katie and David went on to do jump offs and both also ended up with 7th places as individuals. Excellent results. Excellent trip, plenty laughs, food, drink and fun but also exhausting!!!! Once the fog and mist cleared in the morning it went on to be one of the hottest days of the year!!
It is a great event to attend and feel privileged as a club to have been once again to Lincoln.
Also a special thanks to our committee who work so hard to ensure we are entered, eligible, organised and ready to compete at the Qualifiers and Championships.

SUMMER QUALIFIERS JULY 2017

A note from our Chairman Duncan Owen

Well what a weekend!!! Probably the best qualifier for Lothians results   starting with dressage and Sabine's brilliant result in her novice test- 1st place and qualifying for Lincoln- a perfect start for Lothians! Both dressage teams and individuals had minor placings so well done to them for trying so hard and supporting lothians.

Showjumping teams: 1st 1.05m team, 1st 95cm team, 2nd 85cm team and 1st style team, as well as lots of individual placings so I think this tells its own story of the weekend- just bloody brilliant!!! We have a great club camaraderie so thank you to all who competed and all who help behind the scenes! Roll on Lincoln! What a party we'll have
